Blue Healthcare Training Centers proudly offers the #1 rated IV Therapy & Blood Withdrawal (IVBW) class in Southern California,, officially certified by the California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT). Open to All: Anyone over the age of 18 can enroll in this course — you do not need to be an RN or LVN to attend. All students who complete the course will receive a Certificate of Completion for 36 Contact Hours (CEUs) approved by the California BRN. Licensed RNs and LVNs will gain the legal authorization to insert IVs and draw blood in accordance with California regulations upon course completion. This comprehensive 36-hour course is designed for healthcare professionals looking to enhance their skills in intravenous therapy and blood withdrawal procedures. The program combines in-person learning and instruction, and a certification test to ensure a thorough understanding and hands-on experience. 36 Hours Includes: - IV Therapy theory and fundamentals - Blood Withdrawal theory and fundamentals - Hands-on practice and skills check LVNs will receive a Certificate of Completion, 36 CEUs and a license from the BVNPT. RNs will receive a Certificate of Completion and 36 CEUs (RNs are already licensed to place IVs and draw blood. LVN BVNPT License: Are you an LVN that wants to register your certificate with the BVNPT and legally be licensed and able to start IVs and draw blood? Add on $50; pay when you get to class. What happens after I register? You will be sent a confirmation email with more information about your class. You will then appear at the classroom on the dates you selected for registration at 9am. Location: 1605 W Olympic Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90015 Note: Please call or text (424) 490-2583 if you have any questions before booking. In-Person Class Dates: The date you select for registration is the first and following day when you will appear in the classroom at 9am.
