RNs will receive a Certificate of Completion and 36 CEUs (RNs are already licensed to place IVs and draw blood).
Vein Volunteer Available: No worries if your student partner is a "hard stick". Add a vein volunteer to ensure you complete your skill check with confidence. No stress, no guessing — guaranteed opportunity to pass your sticks. Add on $50; pay when you get to class.
LVN BVNPT License: Are you an LVN that wants to register your certificate with the BVNPT and legally be licensed and able to start IVs and draw blood? Add on $50; pay when you get to class.
LVN BVNPT Certification Requirements: Per the BVNPT, to pass the class, LVNs must complete all 36 hours of the course (no late arrival to class permitted) and perform 3 successful venipunctures (blood in the tube) and 3 successful fingersticks. Similar to a college level course, the class is pass/fail. If the student fails the class, they will need to register and pay the tuition for the class again. The class is non-refundable. Students are paired for the skills checks. We highly suggest, you bring a friend for your venipuncture skills check on Day 3 so that you have multiple options (student partner and your friend) to successfully perform your venipunctures. LVNs that fail the class based solely on the number of venipunctures (skills check), may return for just Day 3 of the class at another time, but must pay the tuition fee and bring a friend for the skills check. If they do not have a friend to bring, they may order the Vein Volunteer Service for $50.
Important Attendance Policy for IVBW Certification
Please remember that the BVNPT strictly limits IVBW courses to 15 students per instructor. Every seat in the classroom is a paid seat, and your enrollment holds one of those limited spots.
-
Attendance is mandatory. The BVNPT requires students to complete the full 36 hours of training for certification.
-
On-time arrival is critical. You must be seated in the classroom no later than 8:50 AM on all class days.
-
If you arrive late, miss hours, or cannot complete all required time, you will need to reschedule and pay the full course fee again.
We kindly ask that you only enroll if you can commit to being on time at 9:00 AM for all four classroom days. This ensures fairness to all students, compliance with BVNPT regulations, and the best possible learning environment.
Rescheduling Policy:
-
I will text or email with at least 48 HOURS ADVANCE NOTICE if I need to reschedule to keep my class credit.
-
If I reschedule less than 48 hours of my class start time, I will LOSE my class credit and will need to register and pay again.
-
I may reschedule 1X. Any additional rescheduling will incur a $75 fee and still must occur with at least 48 hours advance notice.
RNs and Others Certification Requirements: To obtain 36 CEUs, the student must complete all 36 hours of the course (no late arrival to class permitted).
Student Pairing: Students are paired for the skills check. In the event, there is an uneven number of students in the class, one student will be chosen at random to bring a friend to perform the venipuncture skills check. Students may also add on a "Vein Volunteer" for $50 when they get to class for the venipuncture skills check if they don't have a friend to bring.
Class Scheduling & Capacity Notice: In rare circumstances, a scheduled class may need to be rescheduled due to enrollment capacity or unforeseen operational factors beyond our control. If this occurs, students will be notified as soon as possible and offered the next available class date. A class credit in the full amount paid will be applied. All registrations remain non-refundable.

What kind of mannequins do you use for practice?
We use brand-new, hyperrealistic IV arm mannequins designed to closely mimic real human anatomy. These advanced training arms feature faux blood simulation, allowing students to experience true flashback and blood return during IV insertion and venipuncture.

Allow students to see and feel proper flashback

Support repeated practice without degradation

Build confidence before transitioning to live classmates
This technology ensures students develop proper technique, hand positioning, and needle control in a safe, controlled environment before performing procedures on real people.
What types of products and supplies are used during training?
All training is conducted using medical-grade, hospital-quality products, the same types used in real clinical settings. Students practice with a wide range of professional supplies, including:

Butterfly needles (various gauges)
